Let me introduce myself. My name is Britt Vangenechten - I’d like to say I’m a thirty-something from the Kempen region in Belgium, but the truth is, I’m actually more like thirty-and-a-half-something by now. Shhh…

I graduated with a Master’s in Photography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent, where I still live and work as a full-time photographer. My passion for travel and photography has taken me to the far corners of the world, from the Andes to Antarctica to China and beyond. When I’m in Belgium, my favorite thing to photograph is weddings - there’s no better job than being up close and personal on your big day. Whether that means biking to the city hall in Ghent, driving to your place at the other side of Belgium, hopping on a train to somewhere in France, Italy, the Netherlands or fly around the world to Spain, Mexico, Thailand, South-Africa, Chile, Canada... no effort is too much.
